Fees and Funding

*The figures shown in the Using Tax-Free Childcare column illustrate the approximate amount parents pay when using the UK Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme. Eligible families pay £8 into their Tax-Free Childcare account, and the Government contributes an additional £2 (up to the scheme limits). Eligibility criteria apply.

Session fees are reviewed annually

and parents will receive a minimum of four weeks written notice of any changes.

Government Funded Childcare

Field View Day Nursery Ltd offers funded childcare on a stretched basis across 51 weeks of the year, allowing children to attend throughout the year with consistent attendance patterns.

This means the annual funded entitlement is spread across 51 weeks and equates to approximately:

30 hours funding = 22 funded hours per week

15 hours funding (Working Families) = 11 funded hours per week

Example Attendance Patterns

30 Hours Funding

Two Full Days (8:00am–6:00pm)

Plus two funded hours on a third day

15 Hours Funding (Working Families)

Two Half Days (8:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm-6:00pm)

Attendance patterns are subject to availability.

Funded Childcare for Eligible Two-Year-Olds

Some two-year-olds may be eligible for 15 hours of Government-funded childcare under the Disadvantaged Two-Year-Old Funding scheme.

Eligibility is determined by the Local Authority and is based on specific qualifying criteria.

The allocation of funded hours and attendance patterns for eligible two-year-olds will be discussed and agreed at the time of enrolment, taking into account the child’s individual needs, family circumstances and session availability.

Where parents wish to book childcare in addition to their funded entitlement, additional hours will be charged at the nursery’s current fees.

If a child’s funding eligibility changes or ends, parents will become responsible for paying the nursery’s standard fees for any continued childcare from the date the funding ceases.

Additional Childcare Hours

Where parents wish to extend a funded session or purchase childcare above their funded entitlement, additional hours will be charged at the nursery’s current hourly rates:

£7.50 per hour when extending a full-day session.

£8.00 per hour when extending a morning or afternoon session.

These charges will be itemised separately on your monthly invoice.

Term-Time Only Places

A limited number of term-time-only places are available at Field View Day Nursery Ltd.

These places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, subject to availability. Once all term-time-only places have been allocated, families will be offered a stretched (51-week) place where available.

Term-time-only places operate during school term dates only (38 weeks) and do not include holiday childcare.

Contribution for Meals & Consumables

Field View Day Nursery Ltd provides freshly prepared meals, nutritious snacks and enhanced learning experiences throughout the day.

Parents are invited to make a voluntary contribution towards these additional provisions of:

£6.00 per funded full day

£4.00 for funded morning

£2.00 per funded afternoon
