You are part of our Field View Family and we believe you are the most important people in your child’s life and always will be that is why we need your help to ensure we continue to build on the foundations you have laid to ensure our children can reach their full potential to become the next inventor, explorer, Engineer, Carer, Teacher, Artist, traveller etc.
We begin this journey with a home visit to observe your child in their home environment within the comfort of their own home and familiar space, the room tribe leader and a tribe member attend and whilst the leader completes any necessary paperwork (Registration form and All about me booklet), most importantly the tribe member will observe, play and begin to build a relationship up with your child ready and arrange some visits to the nursery at different times of the day so your child has the opportunity to explore and see the nursery routine and environment ready to begin their journey.
We offer a Happiness Guarantee that means as many visits as is needed until your child is settled and ready to join the field view family. We understand sometimes this can be more of a difficult transition for the parents/ carers rather than the child so you can contact us at anytime to find out how your child is. Our tribe are experienced, reliable and honest in giving you any feedback on your child and if ever they felt like your child needed more visits/ support they would discuss this with you as your child’s wellbeing is always at the heart of Field View.
Throughout your child’s time with us our main focus is to play and extend their learning through hands on experiences related to their interests. We will document their journey of learning and development, throughout a term they will be a focus child in which we will send out ‘what I have been doing at home’ sheets to ensure we work together to support your child throughout their journey at Field View which enables us to tailor our play and teaching to their individual needs and interests. This is unique to them and enables us to discuss our observations with you and offers you the opportunity to give us feedback on how you feel your child is progressing and if there is any support as a family you may need.
We fully believe that sharing information between home and nursery is useful for parents and the tribe as it provides a complete picture of your child’s learning and a shared partnership helps to plant the seeds for success through curiosity, awe and wonder.
