Our tribe are experienced and committed to the Field View Family and its ethos, we have some who are newly appointed and some who have been with us for years whilst others for 25 years and they all bring something to the table, they are unique individuals who come together to share ideas, knowledge and skills who understand, inspire and encourage the children and each other to progress in their own skills/ development through responsive, trusting relationships.
Whilst all our childcare tribe are qualified and experienced we believe the whole Field View Family from the Administrator, the Cook to the Cleaners along with the Parents/ Carers all have a valuable part to play in ensuring our children are given opportunities and life skills to prepare them for the future, as the saying goes ‘Together Everyone Achieves More’.
All our Tribe have been carefully selected following an ‘in depth’ interview process followed by references taken from current employers to ensure the security and welfare of all children, all have completed a Disclosure and Barring System (DBS) check and have had an induction and settling in period.
All the tribe are First Aid Trained and all the Childcare Tribe have Safeguarding Training.
We also value that some of our tribe have families of their own, and how precious this time is therefore, they all have access to training which can be completed in their own time away from the setting that is tailored to their own individual targets and interests and discussed through supervisions.
The manager has an open door policy for the tribe and they can come and talk to her at anytime not just wait for a supervision.
The manager also supports the Deputy who is the Learning & Development Lead for the tribe with their own professional development, but also their own individual wellbeing throughout their time at Field View.
